The nameless One Being becomes the Polar Two, Father and Mother in heavenly marriage. Their reflection is the Conscious Three, the Son, the Sun.
On the Path of Return, triplicities are fused into dualities, and dualities are identified as unity. Thesis, antithesis, synthesis.
Relative dualities of goodness are fused by harmonizing them, the Fourth Way. The love of humanity overrides the love for peace. [see AAB quote, below]
Between Good and Evil there is no middle ground. It’s an essential duality, not a triplicity with neutrality as a vertex. Good must overcome Evil. Evil is that good which we should have left behind.

Goodwill is the active principle of peace, and the right order of our activity should have been goodwill, leading to right human relations, resulting in peace. “Peace is not the highest goal and objective of the human spirit. Love of humanity is a much higher one. Love of peace is frequently an emotional reaction and can be based upon fear of war, fear of death, fear of disturbing the rhythm of life; it is often based upon love of the individual and not on love of humanity; or upon love of the form nature, selfishness and self-interest.“, p. 47
“I am deliberately bringing this issue to your attention because there are people who -in the face of the proven facts- still cling to their ideal of pacifism and who are only awaiting the psychological moment again to become active. Love of humanity is a primary principle. Both principles are right, but love is of more importance. Between the twelfth and sixteenth centuries (subjectively since 1386 but objectively between 1569–1795) there was a Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth (which included most of Poland, almost all of Ukraine except for the part that contacts the sea, all of Belarus, a small part of Russia, all of Latvia and a part of Estonia, and small portions of Slovakia and Romania..
This is a very ancient Judaic kingdom (quasi-mythical, but it is known that it existed) the kingdom/empire of Jazhar whose capital was Kiev. This kingdom, later a confederation, existed long before present-day Russia was configured. Then Moscow was merely a village, while Kiev was the capital of an ancient kingdom that laid the foundations of a Commonwealth of Nations.
This center of pan-European roots is recognized in the Judaic world as “the heartland” of Jazidism (European mystical Judaism). Today, although nations have been shaped in different ways, Ukraine may be considered a truly Aquarian nation, with its multiple religious creeds and mutual understanding (not just tolerance), unlimited cooperation among different creeds and ethnicities configured as one Soul, with deep historical and karmic ties with Poland.
A third of the Ukrainian population is ancestrally Polish. We could say that most of the Ukrainian population is atavistically Jazharic, ancestrally descended from the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, located right in the center of a pan-European heart.
Therefore, although the modern explanation is that Poland’s past of being invaded by Germany is what fosters its solidarity with the Ukrainian people, the ties are much older and deeper. Hierarchical experiments are long-standing and take centuries, if not millennia, to bear fruit.

I call you to a period of clear thinking. I would ask you—as far as you possibly can—to insulate yourself from fear and from the effect of the world situation and its allied problems. I would ask you to carry forward this insulation along the line of love, using the ancient method which has been called “the wheel of living fire which burns not but ever heals.” This method is occult and safe and constitutes no barrier to relationships as does the building of a separative wall. The method is as follows:
See before you a wheel of fire with seven spokes. See it immediately before your eyes. Then, by an act of the creative imagination, see yourself standing in the centre at the hub of the wheel; there regard yourself as if you were that hub. From that central position, send out the seven streams of living love, radiating upon the world. When you do this you serve and are, at the same time, completely protected. This exercise can be come instantaneous and effective. It generates a protective force and at the same time makes you a living centre of light and love.

Q: How do you see the juxtaposition of Russia’s 7th ray soul and 6th ray personality (idealism in spades) with Spain’s 6th ray soul and 7th ray personality? How is that interplay of major forces playing out to advance the Plan?
A: Spain has a sixth ray ego and a seventh ray personality — thus reversing the forces which are expressing themselves [Page 62] through the Russian spirit. Spain, too, acts as a link in world adjustment but this time the link is between Europe and Africa, and in this capacity Spain has earlier served. It will be apparent to you also how inevitable has been the relationship between Spain and Russia and how the ideology of the latter country has influenced the national government. It will also be apparent why the battleground of the two great ideologies — the Fascist and the Communistic — has been found inevitably in Spain. The triumph of the Fascist part has been equally inevitable from the start because of the egoic relation existing between Spain and Italy and also to the proximity of the two countries which has enabled the telepathic impress of Fascist idealism to be easily impressed upon the prepared and sensitive Spanish consciousness. As to the fanaticism, the natural cruelty, the fervent idealism, the arrogant pride and the religious and mystical quality of the Spanish character, they are obviously of sixth ray origin and are highly crystallised. The intense individualism of the people can be noted also as a definite part of their seventh ray personality equipment. Their spiritual motto: “I disperse the clouds,” is indicative of the magical work for which Spain will eventually be responsible and sooner than is perhaps anticipated, thus balancing in that highly intelligent and individualistic country the field of scientific magic and the magical work of the Church of the future. This is a prophecy which lies at present too far ahead to be capable of verification, either in this generation or the next, but it is rooted in national characteristics and the law of probability. -Destiny of Nations
Q: How can we best support the finer aspects of the 7th ray influx into that crystallized 6th ray personality?
A: Among Master DK’s disciples was Francisco Brualla in the Seed Group of Political Servers. Originally from Spain, he exiled to Argentina during/after the Spanish Civil War (Franco’s dictatorship lasted until 1975), establishing in Buenos Aires the Latin America HQ of the Alice Bailey service activities (Fundacion Lucis).
In one of the letter to F. Brualla, DK tells him (September 1943):
“The work of salvaging Europe, spiritually and psychologically, which is our main preoccupation, must go on. This will come through the effort to understand and express the quality of spiritual Will; it will be the manifestation of that energy which makes the first divine aspect of Will or Power what it is; it is that which is the distinctive feature of the Shamballa force; it is that peculiar and distinctive quality of divinity which is so different that even Christ Himself was unable to express it with facility and understanding. Hence we have the episode in Gethsemane.
It is not easy for me to express its significance in words. Two thousand years have gone since Gethsemane and since Christ made His initial contact with the Shamballa force, and by this means and on behalf of humanity established a relationship which even after two thousand years is but a thin, frail line of connecting energy. This Will force is nevertheless available for right usage, but the power to express it lies in its understanding (as far as may be possible at this midway point in human evolution), and in its group use. It is a unifying, synthetic force, but can be used as a regimenting, standardising force. Ext Hier 640: The United Nations is still the hope of the world and can remain so; it is a great field of experimentation, but is suffering today from an initial error. That error was the admitting of a totalitarian Power into its nations. For seven long and terrible years the Forces of Light had been fighting totalitarianism. In the early days of the post-war period the Nations compromised with principles and admitted Russia to the United Nations. Had they proceeded to unite all the other nations of the world on the sure ground of economic reform, of needed national reorganisation and of regional groups (a better term than “blocs”), Russia would have been forced to conform, for her very existence would have been at stake. An initial error can lead to much trouble, and it is this type of trouble which the United Nations today faces.
Owing to the stupendous task confronting Christ, the Avatar of Synthesis will fortify Him, and He will be buttressed by this “Silent Avatar” Who (to speak symbolically) will “keep His eye upon Him, His hand beneath Him and His heart in unison with His.”
This Being is closely related to the Will Aspect of divinity, and His cooperation has been made possible through Christ’s Own attainment along the line of the highest, spiritual will. He works under the great natural Law of Synthesis, producing at-one-ment, unification and fusion. His function (in unison with the energy of Christ) is to generate spiritual will in humanity, the will-to-good; His potency works in three fields of activity at this time:
a. Within the spiritual Hierarchy itself, revealing the nature of the divine will-to-good which the Kingdom of God must express, and the nature also of divine Purpose.
b. Within the Assembly of the United Nations, though not within the Security Council; He is there generating a slowly growing will-to-unity.
c. Within the masses of men everywhere, fostering the urge to a general betterment.

The 1935 stanza was intended to prevent the war. Once Poland was invaded in September 1939, the Hierarchy announced a new emphasis, as expressed in the November 1939 communication of Master DK which appears in The Externalisation of the Hierarchy (pp. 171-74). A transitional alternative Invocation was suggested then (“O Lord of Light and Love, come forth and rule the world…”).
By 1940, “the dynamic use of another Stanza of the Great Invocation” (Second Stanza) was indicated by the Hierarchy. The Master explicitly stated: “That which you have hitherto used has now served its immediate purpose, though it can again be called into use after the war is over.” (Ibid, 248)
After the War was over, the Third Stanza of the Great Invocation was revealed in 1945, which seems to be an expanded expression of the 1939 transitional invocation.
PS: “Let reality govern my every thought, and truth be the master of my life” is a mantra unrelated to the Great Invocation, given by the Master in A Treatise on White Magic, and indicated “when swept by illusory fears and needless foreboding.” (pp. 239-40). -JB]

There are those who send thoughts of love to the group of evil men who are responsible for world disaster, believing thereby to influence them for good. I would remind them that love is essentially an impersonal potency or energy, dependent for its effect upon the type of form which it contacts and upon which it makes an impact. Pouring, therefore, upon the selfish materialistic nature, it will only enhance desire and promote increased acquisitive aggression, and thus foster the lower nature and distort the true expression of love, leading to increased evil activity. Pouring upon the selfless, the pure and the disinterested, it will foster reality and true love. These are points which should be remembered at this time by the well-intentioned but occultly ignorant server.

The word “forgiveness” is .. simply “to give for.” Forgiveness is not therefore, a synonym for pardon… Forgiveness is sacrifice, and is the giving up of one’s self, even of one’s very life, for the sake of others and for the good of the whole group. Earlier I stated that the physical plane areas or localities which constitute the present modern exits for energies, through which directed energies can pass to carry out the creative process, are five in number: New York, London, Geneva, Darjeeling and Tokyo. UNITED NATIONS, March 2 (Reuters) – The United Nations General Assembly on Wednesday overwhelmingly voted to reprimand Russia for invading Ukraine and demanded that Moscow stop fighting and withdraw its military forces, an action that aims to diplomatically isolate Russia at the world body.
The resolution, supported by 141 of the assembly’s 193 members, passed in a rare emergency session called by the U.N. Security Council while Ukrainian forces battled to defend the port of Kherson in the face of air strikes and a devastating bombardment that forced hundreds of thousands of people to flee.
The text of the resolution deplores Russia’s “aggression against Ukraine.”
Russia was joined by Belarus, which has served as a launch pad for Russian invasion forces, Eritrea, North Korea and Syria in voting against the resolution. Thirty-five members, including China, abstained.

[JB] How do we translate to the men and women of goodwill, that what is happening is the result of the Impacts of Shamballa, energizing both good and evil in the world, for the purpose of planetary and human evolution, and that such life-threatening labor pains are permitted by Sanat Kumara, without divine intervention, so that Humanity, exercising its free will, according to the Plan, can grow into adulthood (1st initiation, birth of the Christ) and assume its planetary responsibility in “sealing the door where evil dwells,” so that the World Teacher can reappear and the externalized Hierarchy of Masters assume democratic control of the planetary affairs, and planet Earth becomes a Beacon of Light in the solar system and the cosmos?
The group, therefore, which “serves as Aquarius indicates” is the Hierarchy; the group which is “speeded upon the upward Way” is the New Group of World Servers. This group is ruled by Taurus, and to it that divine Taurian energy brings “illumination and the attainment of the vision.” This group is, figuratively speaking, the “bull, rushing forward upon a straight line with its one eye fixed upon the goal and beaming light.” But what is that goal? It is not the goal of Self-illumination, for that lies far behind; it is the goal of providing a centre of light within the world of men and of holding up the vision to the sons of men. Let this never be forgotten, and let the New Group of [Page 233] World Servers realise its mission and recognise the demands of humanity upon it. What are these demands? Let me enumerate them, and then let me ask you to take them in all simplicity and act upon them.
1. To receive and transmit illumination from the kingdom of souls.
2. To receive inspiration from the Hierarchy and go forth, consequently, to inspire.
3. To hold the vision of the Plan before the eyes of men, for “where there is no vision, the people perish.”
4. To act as an intermediate group between the Hierarchy and humanity, receiving light and power and then using both of these, under the inspiration of love, to build the new world of tomorrow.
5. To toil in Pisces, illumined by Taurus and responsive in degree to the Aquarian impulse coming from the Hierarchy.
These objectives are not only individual objectives, but the goal for the entire group. All who respond to the life-giving force of Aquarius and to the light-giving force of Taurus can and will work in the New Group of World Servers, even though they have no occult knowledge and have never heard of their co-workers under that name. Forget this not.

How should an esotericist respond to the imminent threat of a disaster? Rationally, of course, not emotionally. The constant practice of mediation should have trained us to control our emotions and proceed rationally, and intuitively too.

Before even considering how to control the elementals of fire, a task we should leave to devas and initiates of higher ranking, we should first inform ourselves about the sequence of events that results in a nuclear power plant meltdown. For instance, the need for electrical power, to control the nuclear reactors and the cooling systems, is essential to avoid disaster.
There are human minds, from government authorities and senior engineers to the firefighters, making decisions in response to a disaster, according to an incident management system. As esotericists, we can we can effectively send constructive thoughts in support of these individuals. They are the ones putting out the fires, not us. For instance, there are soldiers exchanging fire shots, preventing the firefighters from extinguishing a fire caused by missiles. We can help bring common sense to the human minds involved in this type of uncontrolled behavioral chain reaction by aligning with the Hierarchical Executives in charge of the response operation, and providing our minds and hearts as “relaying channels” for Their intervention.
What we should not be doing is to engage in a philosophical debate about the causes of the war, if NATO forces should be strengthened or not. We should leave those considerations to the mitigation, prevention and prepared phases of an incident, while we are engaged in the response phase.
Once the immediate response phase is over, recovery follows and the whole planning cycle is resumed.
For instance, has the UN proven to be effective in preventing and reacting to the Russian invasion of Ukraine? Do we need to make structural changes and plan for the refoundation of the UN.? Should only democracies be admitted to the UN, as originally suggested by Master D.K.? Should the General Assembly (GA) function as a parliament, with votes counting in proportion of the population of the countries? Should the Security Council (SC) be transformed into an Executive Council comprised of the major world economies ratifying the viability of the decisions made by the GA? Should a single country be given veto power, or should the GA be able to override a veto of the SC by a supermajority (2/3 or 3/4, predetermined by the issue at hand)? These, and similar discussions, may bring the esoteric community closer to the charge of the New Group of World Servers, as given by the Master D.K., serving as a bridge between the Hierarchy and the thinkers of Humanity.
One of these thinkers is saying:
Russian human rights activist and former world chess champion Garry Kasparov on Thursday urged world powers to adopt a harsher military and economic strategy against Russian President Vladimir Putin for his invasion of Ukraine… calling it nothing short of “the first stage of World War III.”
Shouldn’t we be paying attention to an international master of strategy, and an intimate knower of the Russian reality?
BBC: The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has said it is in contact with Ukrainian authorities over the reports of shelling at the the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant.
A spokesperson for the plant has also taken to social media asking that Russian forces “stop the heavy weapons fire”.
CNN: The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said Ukraine’s regulator had told the organization there had been no change in reported radiation levels and that the fire had not affected “essential” equipment.

Fear is an illusion. I would like to point out to my brothers that they need to do two things: To meditate on truth in daily life, using the concept of truth practised and lived by as their seed thought in meditation; to this end I would suggest that they memorise and use at all times when swept by illusory fears and needless foreboding the following formula or prayer:
Let reality govern my every thought, and truth be the master of my life.
Let each say this to himself as constantly as need requires, [Page 240] forcing his mind to focus attention upon the significance of these spoken words.
I would suggest also sound common sense and the cultivation of an attitude of mind which refuses to permit time for illusory fears to grow.
This article [written in 2006] is an effort to alert disciples to both the dangers and opportunities of our time, the “Stage of the Forerunner.” The author highlights the importance attached by the Tibetan Master to humanity’s recognition of three aspects of reality before the year 2025.
The Tibetan states that three “recognitions” must take root within humanity by 2025. They must be assimilated in such a way that they will “produce fundamental changes in human thought, awareness and direction.” The importance of achieving these recognitions is “above everything else required at this time.” Moreover, if these fundamental changes in consciousness fail to occur, He sounds a dire warning: “These three recognitions must be evidenced by humanity and affect human thinking and action if the total destruction of mankind is to be averted.”
The required changes in consciousness are worded as follows:
a recognition of the world of meaning,
a recognition of Those Who implement world affairs and Who engineer those steps which lead mankind onward toward its destined goal, plus
a steadily increased recognition of the Plan on the part of the masses.
The task of communicating knowledge of subtle realities to a broader public was assigned to disciples, although this fact is often overlooked or underestimated. To a surprising extent, the Plan depends upon the willingness and ability of esoteric students to carry out this work effectively in time to avert possible disaster.
Eight seed thoughts
Russia will not win the war of aggression against Ukraine. Russia may win some battles, but it will lose the war.
Ukrainians will succeed in resisting the invasion no matter how long it takes, no matter how painful. A successful resistance is victory.
Putin will be defeated from within Russia. The Russian military will see the folly of Putin’s war of choice and the Russian people will rise in opposition to Putin.
Ukraine reserves the right of self defense. This right includes asking other countries to aid them militarily. Poland, the country whose invasion by Hitler triggered WW-II, has already agreed to offer protection of Ukraine’s air space.
Putin is no Hitler because he’s not committed to subjugate the world invoking racial or ideological superiority. There’s nothing wrong with a block of nations in free association with Russia. What’s wrong is the totalitarian imposition of such association of countries, as a Russian Empire.
Putin is a totalitarian terrorist, holding Ukraine hostage and threatening the international security forces with the nuke option, like any other resentful terrorist would do.
You don’t negotiate with terrorists for a solution that would leave them free. Terrorists need to be subdued or eliminated, with the minimum risk possible to the hostages
A totalitarian superpower is a cancer threatening world peace. Totalitarianism is an evil which humanity must seal the door to.
For students and teachers of the Alice A. Bailey books, the essay written by the Lucis Trust on the “Jewish People” is a very useful reference. Their effort is to be commended, particularly in the context of Master D.K.’s definition of modern esotericism, “the newer esotericism which the more modern groups and the more mental types will sponsor.”
One would expect that such crucial definition, at the very heart of the essential purpose of an esoteric school, would appear prominently in its home page. Instead, a quote from the book Education in the New Age (pp. 59-68) is hidden (no pun intended) in the tab “Key articles” under the rubric “Other talks and articles” among many other articles.
It would greatly benefit students and teachers alike if the Arcane School would provide a comprehensive definition of what esotericism essentially is, worded in modern language and grounded in the Teachings, such as:
Esotericism comprises the study of that which is concealed and hidden and which, even though suspected, remains unknown. Essentially, esotericism is a science, the science of the soul of all things. This soul is the animating consciousness found throughout nature and on those levels which lie outside the territory usually called nature. As such, esotericism has its own terminology, experiments, deductions, and laws.
The esotericist is concerned with that living, vibrant substance of which the worlds are made, developing the needed responsiveness and sensitivity to the quality of the life dominating any form, arriving eventually at the quality of the ONE LIFE which animates the planet and within Whose activity we live and move and have our being. Therefore, esotericism is the Science of Redemption, the redemption of substance and its forms, as all World Saviors are the everlasting symbol and exponents.
The spiritual Hierarchy of the planet, with its great Leader, the Christ (the present World Teacher), might be regarded as a Hierarchy of Redeemers, skilled in the Science of Redemption. Once They have mastered this science, They can then pass on to the Science of Life and deal with the energies which will eventually hold and use the qualified, redeemed and principled substance and forms. It is the redemption of unprincipled substance, its creative restoration and spiritual integration, which is Their goal.
Esoteric study, when coupled with esoteric living, reveals in time the world of meaning. The esotericist starts by endeavoring to discover the reason why. Wrestling with the problem of happenings, events, crises, and circumstances, the esotericist arrives at their meaning. Having ascertained the meaning of any specific problem, the esotericist uses it as an invitation to penetrate more deeply into the newly revealed world of meaning, learning to incorporate personal or national problems into the problem of the larger Whole. The true esoteric viewpoint is always that of the larger Whole.

It is in this context that the “Jewish Problem” is approached by the Tibetan Master, and the essay written by the Lucis Trust staff is an excellent synthesis and reference. Its best approach may be found in the following paragraph:
Some people wonder why, when human history is replete with examples of “man’s inhumanity to man”, the Tibetan seemed to single out the Jews for special criticism. Everything that the Tibetan wrote needs to be studied in the context of the entire body of teachings which promote goodwill, tolerance, and mutual respect. Comments on the Jewish people must be read in their entirety, which includes mention of the splendid contribution of the Jewish people in many departments of human life. Criticism of separative tendencies in Zionism must be read in the context of biting comments on the subterfuge of the Vatican, materialism in the Christian churches, and “churchianity” in general. He was also outspoken in his opposition to American isolationism, Soviet totalitarianism, fascism, Nazism, and the great evil embodied by Hitler and his closest associates, and to pacifism during the World War—all of which compromised the essential oneness of humanity and the spirit of responsible freedom.
However, the essay is flawed with a false equivalence by referring to the occupied Palestinian territories as “neighbors” of the Zionist state.
Another point of concern for many is the Tibetan’s unwavering opposition to Zionism. He believed that the Jewish problem could be solved only by their integration into the world’s nations, not by setting the Jews further apart in a separate nation. However, almost all the writing that developed from his collaboration with Alice Bailey was completed before the state of Israel was founded in 1948, and Israel has been a reality for sixty years. The situation is not helped by critical, hateful thinking towards either the Israeli citizens or their neighbours. Rather, all people of goodwill are obligated to bring loving understanding and compassion to all affected by the suffering resulting from the long-standing conflict in the Middle East. All who espouse spiritual values must approach the situation of the Middle East with a realistic appraisal of present circumstances and a focus on creative change leading to better conditions for all concerned. It is a difficult challenge but not an impossible one. And it is worth every ounce of effort we can bring to bear upon a just resolution, for “When humanity has solved the Jewish problem (with the understanding cooperation of the Jew) and overcome ancient antipathies and hatreds, it will do so by fusing the problem in one vast humanitarian situation” (The Externalisation of the Hierarchy, p. 77).
The word “Palestine” is avoided, even implying that the original teaching of the Tibetan Master may be outdated and must be reinterpreted and adapted to the current situation. This may be so. Hopefully, the next dispensation of the Teachings would clarify the current stance of the spiritual Hierarchy on the unlawful occupation of the Palestine territories as a fait accompli.
However, “esotericism has its own terminology, experiments, deductions, and laws.” One of such law is the Law of Karma. The unlawful occupation of the Palestine territories would be an additional karma generated in the world by the Zionist state of Israel. The ideology of Zionism — different from the Jewish people — is unequivocally identified as evil in the Teachings.
Zionism today stands for aggression and for the use of force, and the keynote is permission to take what you want irrespective [Page 680] of other people or of their inalienable rights. These points of view are against the position of the spiritual leaders of humanity, and therefore the leaders of the Zionist movement, and the group of men who direct and control the policies of Russia, are against the policies of the spiritual Hierarchy and are contrary to the lasting good of mankind. -R&I
Therefore, caution must be exerted before accepting the revision to the Teachings suggested by the Lucis Trust, as we keep in mind the scope of “esoteric research” in the practice of the newer esotericism.
There is a tendency among esoteric students, particularly those in the older Piscean groups, to regard any interest in the energies producing world events or which concern governments and politics as antagonistic to esoteric and spiritual endeavor. But the newer esotericism which the more modern groups and the more mental types will sponsor sees all events and world movements and national governments, plus all political circumstances, as expressions of the energies to be found in the inner world of esoteric research; therefore they see no sound reason for excluding such an important aspect of human affairs from their reasoning and thinking and from the discovery of those new truths and techniques which may bring about the new era of right human relations. They ask: Why omit political research from the spiritual curriculum? They deem it to be of equal if not of greater importance than the activity of the churches; governments condition people and aid in the production of any current civilization, forcing the masses of men into certain needed lines of thought. The churches and men everywhere need to learn that there is nothing in the entire world of phenomena, of forces and of energies, which cannot be brought under the control of that which is spiritual. All that exists is spirit in manifestation. The masses today are becoming politically minded, and this is viewed by the Masters as a great step forward. When the spiritually minded people of the world include this relatively new area of human thought and its international activity within the field of their esoteric research, very great progress will be made.
War is, factually, a great explosion of energies and forces, generated on the inner planes where the esotericist ought to be working (but is seldom to be found), and finding its dire and catastrophic expression upon the physical plane. This is indicated today by the constant use of the terms “Forces of Light” and “Forces of Evil.” When the inner, esoteric, and predisposing causes of war are discovered through esoteric research, then war and wars will come to an end. This is in the nature of truly esoteric work but is scorned by present day esotericists who regard themselves as spiritually superior to such affairs and—in their ivory tower—concentrate on their own development, plus a little philosophy.
I shared useful material and several links to sources of reliable information on the subject. Among them, I highly recommend the excellent educational material from the European Commission (EC).
Fully agreeing with this statement included in the Program of the Conference,
the workshop provided an opportunity for me, a seasoned and fully credentialed scientist, to share with the esoteric community a scientist’s perspective on this Crisis of Belief, as is so well described in the Program. And this was what I did, in an impersonal way.
However, I have been asked to address concerns in our community about a co-worker closely connected with our service activities who is actively promoting COVID-19 conspiracy theories.
Stop the spread
I think that this kind of misleading information is a good opportunity to put into practice the principles that I outlined in the workshop, particularly in the light of the EC criteria for identifying conspiracy theories.
Conspiracy theories are very seductive and the esoteric community is particularly susceptible to their seduction, for the reasons explained in the workshop.
The temptations of the Christ in the desert may serve as a model of an effective but impersonal response from me to such misinformation. The Christ did not engage in arguments but, rather, asserted the fact: “IT IS WRITTEN…” Likewise, my personal response to such misleading posting is as simple and direct:
NOT TRUE!
We need to apply our spiritual discernment on these matters. No one else can do the work for us. One hint, though, may be useful: check its predictive value. Is what the theories predict actually happening? In India and Brazil, for instance?
I understand that there are many other coworkers enticed by this seduction. Like the father of the Prodigal Son parable, the prudent thing to do is to wait for their return to the main but narrow Path of the Light. I love them the same, regardless.
We are told, “There is no such thing as failure; there can only be loss of time.” (TWM, 634) May you use your time wisely.

I shall take the example of a physician. Often the physician is ready to cut away a knot of diseased nerves, but possible damage to a sympathetic center stays his scalpel. No being is isolated. Numberless are the layers of the karmic web that binds even the most disparate beings. In the flow of the karmic stream one can trace currents linking the most unworthy to the most worthy. Therefore the one who cuts must first anesthetize the channels that unite the streams of karma. Otherwise the individual destruction, even if justified, can cause harm to the whole. Thus the means for destruction must be resorted to with the utmost caution.
All men and women are created equal in essence. However, to live in peace, they must relate to each other, and to the whole, according to developed levels of consciousness, as defined by the Law of Divine Proportions.
This Law of Right Relations states that the whole is to the greater as the greater is to the lesser. Conversely, the lesser is to the greater as the greater is to the whole.
The lesser consciousness of self-interest is to the greater consciousness of the common good —group consciousness— as the common good is to the One. This ratio is phi (0.618, with a lowercase p).
The One is to group consciousness as group consciousness is to selfishness. The ratio is Phi (1.618, with a capitalized P).
Phi and phi are reciprocal and complementary ratios, or reasons, derived from the mathematical properties of self-similarity.
If you square Phi, you get a number exactly 1 greater than itself: 2.618…, or
Φ² = Φ + 1.
If you divide Phi into 1 to get its reciprocal, you get a number exactly 1 less than itself: 0.618…, or
The One is revealed as an essential referent to achieve right human relations, wherein the sum, or the common good, is more than the addition of its parts, the fractions of self- interest.
Neither Phi nor phi are rational numbers but, rather, they are reasonable proportions. They cannot be reduced to a ratio of any two integers of self-interest. However, they can be reasonably related within the One, as the Golden Ratio of Divine Proportions.

True freedom is always circumscribed, inscribed within a whole. Individual rights —the lesser— must be integrated with social responsibility —the greater— for the good of the whole, the common good. For democracy to work, the sons and daughters of a country must relate to each other, and to their leaders, as their leaders relate to the Good, the True and the Beautiful. This is an enlightened democracy, a hierarchical democracy.
A democracy from the people (the lesser self-interest), by the enlightened people (the greater common good), and for the (sake of the) whole people (the One).

We must seal the door where evil of separateness dwells. Then and only then, can the Inner Government of the World externalize and the Lord Maitreya —the Christ, also known as the Imam Mahdi, the Kalki Avatar and the Bodhisattva— physically reappear on Earth.

The Externalization of the Hierarchy
Owing to the fact that mankind is so weakened by pain, strain and suffering, the probability is that it will not be deemed wise for the Lords of Liberation directly to contact humanity. They will more probably do three things:
Stand behind and strengthen the Rider on the white horse as He responds to the demand of the people everywhere, pouring through Him that dynamic energy which embodies the first divine aspect, the will aspect, the power expression. Thus, They will enable Him to carry out the will of God in such a manner that humanity can grasp [Page 271] what is being done. Mankind will then see the Love which animates the Will and Power of God. The true significance of liberty will then be revealed. It is not yet understood.
Pour Their strengthening will-to-good into the New Group of World Servers in all lands, so that there may be potent, simultaneous action in line with the purposes of the Rider from the secret place.
Stimulate, and integrate into the minds of certain advanced disciples, a number of new ideals which must govern the liberating process and find expression in the New Age. This was done in a small way at the time of the French Revolution when the three major concepts of freedom were expressed in the three words, Liberty, Equality, Fraternity, and were intellectually presented to the race. These have now been temporarily relinquished, and this in itself constitutes an important symbolic happening. It had to occur, because these three words stood for no factual truth but simply for a hope and for an academic concept; the events of the last few months reduced them to a farce. So, they were deliberately withdrawn in order to enhance their importance and will later be restored and will then assume a new and potent significance in the minds of all men. They are the three words which must govern the New Age.
Certain racial interpretations of ideals will also have to disappear in order to be succeeded by new and better ones. This applies even to man’s understanding of the three words which we have been considering.
“Liberty,” as the Lords of Liberation may endorse it, is in reality the recognition of right human relations, freely adjusted, willingly undertaken and motivated by a sense of responsibility which will act as a protective wall; this will take place, not through coercive measures, but through correct interpretation and quick appreciation by the masses, who are apt to confound licence (personality freedom to do as the lower nature chooses) and liberty of soul and conscience. Yet this liberty is the easiest aspect of the divine will for humanity to grasp. [Page 272] It is in reality the first revelation given to man of the nature of the Will of God and of the quality of Shamballa.
“Equality” is that peculiar understanding which the Coming One will reveal and which is based on a right sense of proportion, correct Self-respect, and understanding of the spiritual, yet natural, laws of Rebirth and of Cause and Effect, and which will be founded in future centuries on the recognition of the age of a soul’s experience and gained development, and not at all on the loud emphatic affirmation that “all men are equal.”
“Fraternity” is something that humanity itself will contribute as an expression of the third aspect of divinity, basing it on right contact and right reaction to contact.
Thus, there will be developed gradually the true life-theme of humanity, which is brotherhood, founded on divine origin (equality) and leading to a free and true expression of divinity (liberty).
Perhaps with these thoughts in mind, this first stanza of the new Invocation will assume more importance, and you will then be able intelligently to invoke Those Who can inspire to right action, thus bringing succour, and call forth the One Who can save the situation through right leadership.

The US Capitol is the center of the architectural design of Washington, D.C. because, in a democracy, the political power emanates from the House of the People.
The US Capitol may be visualized as a cubical (six-sided) house. The bottom, west, top, and east sides of the cube unfold westwardly. At the third fold, the two remaining sides unfold north and south. A cross is formed.
Viewed eastward from the original eastern side of the cube, the cross appears inverted because, in a democracy, the view from the top tends to distort the real needs of the people. Only when viewed from the bottom of the cross —the Capitol— are the real needs addressed.
From the very top of that cross, Abraham Lincoln —a racial Avatar— keeps reminding us that government should be from the people, by the people and for the people. At his feet, the two short arms of the cross point north to the house of the federal President, and south to the restraining force of anti-federalism, the Jefferson Memorial.
These two forces —a strong central government opposing strong state governments— have shaped the political history of the United States. At the heart of this yin-yang polarity is the Washington Obelisk, a reminder that the first President of the United States stood at a neutral stance, preferring a nonpartisan political system.
From the center of the cross, the Federal Triangle is drawn. The longer sides point to the House of the People, as George Washington reminds us that democracy will die if the power grabbing tendency of the White House would ever rule unchecked. The White House would then become a Black Hole dragging the cross into a Dark Cube.
The octagon inscribing the White House has witnessed good office holders aligned with the needs of the people (5-pointed stars), and those grabbing power for selfish purposes (inverted pentagrams). The federal triangle points to the US Capitol for balance, as it radiates light eastward. Of this Columbia, the Goddess of Liberty solemnly standing on its dome, serves as its eternal symbol.
Eastward from the US Capitol stand two buildings symbolizing forces also counter-balancing the power grabbing tendencies of the White House. These are US Supreme Court and the Library of Congress. The annual path of the Sun as it rises every day on the Eastern horizon can be tracked by this Triangle of Wisdom and Enlightenment.
Architecturally, the All-Seeing Eye —the Capitol Hill— is the capstone of the 13-rung Pyramid built upwards from the west below to the east above. This is the “shining city on a hill” envisioned by the Founding Fathers. And still, the Statue of Freedom at the dome —Columbia—carries no flaming torch.
The Path of Freedom is veiling a further revelation. As hinted by the French people, the majestic Temple designed by L’Enfant has another extension to unfold. The gifted Statue of Liberty at Liberty Island —another Temple— may serve as a timely reminder.
When will the two Ladies meet? Or are They the same Goddess garbed in different garments? There is a prophecy that New York will become the new center of political power in the United States. An Olympian relay handoff may be in the offing, not just for the United States, but for humanity.
In serene expectancy, we await, and toil, and rest again, until the appointed time.
We shall overcome. Yes, Rosa Parks, Martin Luther King and John Lewis. We shall overcome, some day.

Let it evoke response from the bright centre, lying far ahead. -Fourteen Rules for Group Initiation ( Rule 3):
To this centre we give the name Shamballa, the component letters of which are numerically: S.H.A.M.B.A.L.L.A. or 1.8.1.4.2.1.3.3.1. This word equals the number 24 which in its turn equals 6. I would call your attention to the fact that the word has in it nine letters, and—as you know—nine is the number of initiation. The goal of all the initiatory process is to admit mankind into realisation of and identification with the will or purpose of Deity. The number 6 is the number of form or of manifestation, which is the agent or medium through which this realisation comes and by which the consciousness is unfolded so that it can become the foundation of the higher process which is instituted at the third initiation. That initiation is closely related to the third major centre, Shamballa; it is the third, from the angle of man’s perception and understanding, but the first from the angle of Deity Itself. Again, 6 being the number of the sixth ray, it is therefore the number of idealism and of that driving force which makes mankind move forward upon the path and in response to the vision and press upward towards the light. It is in reality devotion to an unseen goal, ever on ahead, and an unswerving recognition of the objective. Like all other divine qualities, it has its material counterpart, and that is why 666 is regarded as the number of the Beast or of materialism, the number of the [Page 80] dominance of the three worlds prior to the process of reorientation and the expression of developed idealism and purpose. The third aspect expresses itself through pure materialism, and hence the three sixes. In an ancient book on numbers the initiate is defined as “the one who has experienced and expressed 666 and found it naught; who has dropped the 6 and become the 66, and thus has found himself upon the WAY; later, again, he drops the 6 and becomes the perfected 6—form, the instrument and expression of spirit.”
The number 24 is of deep interest, expressing as it does the double 12—the greater and the lesser zodiac. Just as the number 6 expresses space, so the number 24 expresses time, and is the key to the great cycle of manifestation. It is the clue to all cyclic appearance or incarnation. Its two figures define the method of evolution; 2 equals the quality of love-wisdom, working under the Law of Attraction and drawing man from one point of attainment to another; whilst 4 indicates the technique of conflict and the achieving of harmony through that conflict; 4 is also the number of the human hierarchy, and 2 is the number of the spiritual hierarchy. Technically speaking, until the third initiation, the initiate is “occupied with the relationship of the 2 and the 4; these, when placed side by side, connote relation; and when placed the one above the other, the initiate passes from the 4 into the 2.” Needless to say, there is much more to say anent these figures, but the above will suffice to show the satisfactory nature of esoteric numerology—not numerology as understood today.
I would have you note that the sounds which compose the word “Shamballa” are predominantly along the line of will or power or of first ray energy. Of the nine letters, six are on the first ray line of force. 1.1.1.3.3.1.—spirit and matter, will and intelligence. Two of them are along the second line of force, 4 and 2. The number 8 inaugurates ever a new cycle, following after the number 7, which is that of a relative perfection. It is the number of the Christ-consciousness; just as 7 is the number of man, 8 is the [Page 81] number of the Hierarchy, and 9 is the number of initiation or of Shamballa. Forget not that, from the angle of the Hierarchy, the third initiation is regarded as the first major initiation.
Washington’s visionary planner was Pierre Charles L’Enfant, a French army engineer who fought in the American Revolution. Two factors strongly influenced L’Enfant’s imagination as he planned the capital city: his understanding of 18th-century Baroque landscape architecture and his familiarity with the city of Paris and the grounds of Versailles. L’Enfant adapted the city’s formal plan to the area’s natural topography, carefully selecting important sites for principal buildings on the basis of the order of their importance, beginning with the U.S. Capitol building, which he placed on a high ridge. He then symbolically linked it, by way of Pennsylvania Avenue, to the presidential palace (the White House), on a slightly lower ridge.
Placing the Capitol at the centre of the street plan, L’Enfant drew surveyors’ lines through the building to the points of the compass, thereby separating the city into four sections: Northwest (the largest quadrant), Northeast, Southeast, and Southwest. Three of the four surveyors’ lines became streets: North Capitol, East Capitol, and South Capitol streets. The fourth dividing line stretches west from the Capitol along the middle of the Mall to the Potomac River.
Washington’s streets are organized in a scheme of broad diagonal avenues overlain on a grid of wide north-south- and east-west-trending streets. Thus, an orderly web of wide tree-lined avenues creates great vistas and leads both to powerful focal points and open public spaces. The intersections of two or three diagonal avenues are punctuated with landscaped circles and squares, while their intersections with grid streets create triangular and trapezoidal lots and parks, resulting in interesting streetscapes.
Washington D.C. was established in 1790 when an act of Congress authorized a federal district along the Potomac River, a location offering an easy route to the western frontier (via the Potomac and Ohio River valleys) and conveniently situated between the northern and southern states.

President Washington chose an area of land measuring 100 square miles where the Eastern Branch (today’s Anacostia River) met the Potomac just north of Mount Vernon, his Virginia home. The site already contained the lively port towns of Alexandria and Georgetown, but the new nation needed a federal center with space dedicated to government buildings.
Washington asked L’Enfant, by then an established architect, to survey the area and recommend locations for buildings and streets. The Frenchman arrived in Georgetown on a rainy night in March 1791 and immediately got to work.
L’Enfant placed Congress on a high point with a commanding view of the Potomac, instead of reserving the grandest spot for the leader’s palace as was customary in Europe. Capitol Hill became the center of the city from which diagonal avenues named after the states radiated, cutting across a grid street system.
In 1901, the Senate formed the McMillan Commission, a team of architects and planners who updated the capital based largely on L’Enfant’s original framework. They planned an extensive park system, and the Mall was cleared and straightened. Reclaimed land dredged from the river expanded the park to the west and south, making room for the Lincoln and Jefferson memorials. The Commission’s work finally created the famous green center and plentiful monuments of today’s Washington.
The National Mall was built on low, flat land surrounded by three waterways: the Potomac and Anacostia Rivers, and until the 1870s, Tiber Creek. During the 1800s, heavy rains and flooding frequently saturated the landscape, sometimes creating puddles the size of small ponds. Residents and visitors described the area as a swamp, particularly before the monuments and museums were built. A myth grew that the National Mall was built on swamp when, in fact, only part of the Mall was originally marshland or tidal plain.
The Technique of Light is more closely related to the mind and signifies the method whereby the illumination which flows from the soul (whose nature is light) can irradiate not only ideals but life, circumstances and events, revealing the cause and the meaning of the experience. When the power of the disciple to illumine is grasped, he has taken the first step towards dispelling glamour; and just as the technique of the Presence becomes effective upon the mental plane, so this technique produces powers which can become effective on the astral plane and eventually bring about the dissipation and the disappearance of that plane.
FORMULA FOR THE DISSIPATION OF WORLD GLAMOUR
(Technique for a Group)
The Preparatory Stages.
The naming of the group members, followed by ten minutes silence.
The Protective Formula: The group members say in unison:
“As a soul I work in light and darkness cannot touch me. I take my stand within the light. I work and from that point I never move.“
As these words are uttered, each group member makes the sign of the Cross of Divinity.
The three preparatory stages:
a. Focussing the dual light of matter and mind.
b. Meditation on soul contact and recognition of soul light.
c. The fusion of the two lesser lights with soul light.
On a signal from the leader, the group says together:
“The light is one and in that light shall we see light. This is the light that turns the darkness into day.“

Then together the group says:
“Radiance are we and power. We stand forever with our hands stretched out, linking the heavens and the earth, the inner world of meaning and the subtle world of glamour.

As these words are said, the group members visualise the great searchlight they have created turning its light upon the astral plane.
A pause follows and then comes the invocation of the spiritual will. When this has been done the group says:
“With power upon its beam, the light is focussed on the goal.“
The glamour to be dissipated is named and the light is thrown upon it. The Words of Power are uttered :
“The power of our united light prevents the appearance of the glamour of… (naming it).
The power of our united light negates the quality of the glamour from affecting man.
The power of our united light destroys the life behind the glamour.“
Visualisation of the light, penetrating into the glamour and producing its weakening and dissipation.
Five minutes of silence and intensity of purpose whilst the work is seen proceeding. Then the group members refocus themselves upon the mental plane, turning their attention away from the astral plane. The searchlight of the soul is shut off.

More than 3 million people, or two-fifths (40%) of the state’s registered voters, have already cast a ballot in the runoffs, either through early in-person voting or by absentee ballot. And anywhere from 800,000 to possibly over a million people will vote on Election Day.
The polls in Georgia are scheduled to close at 7 p.m. ET on Election Day, and that’s when ballot counting is allowed to begin. Absentee ballots must be received by the poll-closing time to be counted. There is an exception for military and overseas ballots. If they’re postmarked by Tuesday and received by Friday, they will be counted. And absentee voters have until Friday to fix problems with their ballots so their votes can be counted.
While absentee ballots received ahead of Election Day can’t be counted until the polls close, county election officials were allowed to begin processing those ballots in advance. That includes verifying signatures on the outer envelope of the ballot, opening the envelopes, and scanning the ballots.
Perdue and Loeffler could jump out to an early lead Tuesday night for a couple of reasons. Republican areas of the state often report their results first, and Republican voters were more likely to vote on Election Day or at early in-person polling stations. Those votes are often counted first by many of Georgia’s counties.
Heavily Democratic counties — including in Atlanta and the surrounding inner suburbs — have traditionally seen slower in vote counting and election results. And since more Democrats than Republicans were expected to vote by absentee ballot, late returned ballots, which would be counted after in-person and Election Day votes, would likely favor Ossoff and Warnock.
One more thing to remember: If the final margins in either of the contests are within 0.5% of the vote, the losing candidate under Georgia law has the right to ask for a recount.
Georgia may count ballots faster this time around.
Two factors work in favor of a faster count this time around. First, fewer races are on the ballot, which means less work for election officials. Second, after the general election, the Georgia State Election Board enacted a rule requiring counties to begin processing early and absentee ballots at least a week before future elections.
Officials can’t actually count the ballots until the polls close, but they can do all the time-consuming prep work. That means votes cast before election day — more than three million, according to Gabriel Sterling, a top state election official — should already be compiled, and pretty much all officials will need to do Tuesday night is hit “tabulate.”

Miss Freedom, originally named Goddess of Liberty, is the statue adorning the dome of the Georgia State Capitol since 1889. Commissioned in 1888, the hollow copper statue is painted white, weighs over 1600 lbs and is over 26 feet tall.
The statue wears a Phrygian cap or pileus, adorned with a star. It wears a robe and holds a torch in her right hand and a sword in her left. The torch is meant to represent truth or enlightenment while the sword symbolizes authoritative armed liberty or enforced justice
The torch is a functioning mercury-vapor lamp, casting a blue-green light at night.
This photograph depicts an anterior view of a sculpted bust of the Goddess Hygeia, the Greek Goddess of Health. This carved marble sculpture was presented to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), by Dr. John E. Skandalakis, on December 18, 1970, and is now on display on the CDC’s Roybal Campus, located in metropolitan Atlanta, Georgia.
